Easy No Yeast Pizza Dough

My daughter loves pizza on Friday nights but I forgot to stop at the store. So I found this great simple recipe for a no yeast pizza dough  that's simple, fast and easy. However, I never follow a recipe EXACTLY so...I added a little fresh Parmesan cheese for flavor. YUMMY!

Ingredients:
2 1/2 Cups Flour
2 3/4 Tsp Baking Powder
1/4 Cup fresh Parmesan Cheese
1 Tsp salt
2 Tbs Vegetable Oil
1 Cup Water

I'm a dump cook so I combined all the ingredients, kneaded the dough for about 10 minutes. Then rolled it out on my pizza stone (Pampered Chef....LOVE EM').  I didn't want to bake it too long since it would cook again once it was fully dressed.

This recipe made one 13" pizza crust.

I baked the dough at 400 degrees until it was slightly brown and doubled in thickness, for about 15 minutes.

Cover with as much sauce as you desire (we used Marinara).

Three kinds of Cheddar.

Cover with Pepperoni, we're simple pizza lovers, though I do love a good Veggie Pizza. If you notice the little breaks in the crust...that was my daughter who really liked the crust and kept pinching pieces while I was trying to finish and get it in the oven!

Baked at 375 for about 20 minutes or until cheese melts.

This is what we used.

Pizza's ready!

The slices were thick, the dough was tender. The only thing I would change the next time on this recipe is to omit the salt if I use the Parmesan cheese again, we are very sensitive to salt. Otherwise this was a great recipe and very fast. I have one happy child tonight :-).

Happy Anniversary!

This had to be one of my most challenging cakes. I've made women's shoes before but never a mans. To everyone surprise this cake was shipped all the way to Michigan and not a scratch on it. Kudo to the USPS!

"Berry Tasty Cakes"

This was my FIRST attempt at making a pancake cake and I was pleasantly surprised at how it turned out. This is a "miniature" version as a large cake would use a LOT of fondant. I think this is the perfect size, it's about the size of two large cupcakes stacked on top of one another.  You can see delicious professional photos of these cakes on this link at:  "Images By Nancy Rae's Photography. http://imagesbynancyrae.smugmug.com/. Rick the husband and Nancy his wife do faboulous work! Check them out!

Well...HERE WE GO AGAIN!

This is our SECOND audition for Food Networks "Cupcake Wars". Haven't heard anything yet and I assume auditons are still open since they haven't posted "Auditions Closed" on FB. MAN! I want to get on that show so bad I can TASTE IT..(no pun intended). I think this one was better than my first seeing my Mom was ill with cancer and I spent a lot of time flying out to see her. As I look back I could see the stress on my face with my first August '11 audition, but God rest her soul, she passed two months after that. I was sad to call and tell her in September when we didn't get selected for season 4 because she was SO excited to hear we'd been called in the first place.  But, like the Mother she was, said...."That's alright baby, you'll get it next time". Well, who knows how Food Network selects their competitors, last I checked on FB they were looking for "British" Bakers living in the USA? Well, I wasn't born in England but I do love their accent due to my husbands military career we were fortunate enough to visit England. I was in a McDonalds with my daughter and a worker came over to clean our table and say hello. She goes..."I love your accent"...I'm thinking "What accent..YOU have an accent". It's funny how we view one another. I'm from Alabama so maybe she did hear an "accent" :-). For this audition I selected my husband because I know he'll keep me in line if we are selected and I have a "CRAZY" cake moment when he doesn't do something EXACTLY the way I want. So...if we don't get selected this time...last I knew the only person who could turn good water into wine was JESUS! So Food Network...I am what I am and I can't change good water (you noticed I used the word "good") into wine...so whatcha see...is whacha get...AND YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHIN YET!...sorry, for a moment there I was transported back to my childhood. Enjoy!
