Monster Cake Balls made "Easier"

Had a ton of cake balls to make this week but I didn't want to roll them out by hand as usual. So, I went searching online for a solution and found two. An actual "Cake Ball" maker and a "Meatballer", they looked exactly the same but one was almost 3 times the cost of the other.

So guess which one I decided on? You got it! The cheap one, only I didn't pay close attention to how "large" it would be but...it made the task a LOT shorter being the cake balls were so big, I don't think anyone would mind.

I dipped my baller in very hot water I allowed to boil in the microwave.

Then filling the cavities (over fill) with my cake because the excess will escape.

Any that doesn't just wipe away with your fingers.

You get a nice clean ball with the exception....

of the little crease in the center.

Give it a couple of firm rolls between your palms and it's smooth again!

BLACK FRIDAY....Hmmm

My daughter found this online to share with me from "Someecards" it said;

BLACK FRIDAY:

"BECAUSE ONLY IN AMERICA, PEOPLE TRAMPLE OTHERS FOR SALES EXACTLY ONE DAY AFTER BEING THANKFUL FOR WHAT THEY ALREADY HAVE"

How's that for irony?! LOL!
HAPPY SHOPPING! DON'T HURT NOBODY! :-).

Station #18

Happy Thanksgiving!!
I tell you what I'm thankful for today, people like this who put their lives on the line and spend a lot of time away from family just to keep us safe. These are my Hero's, the happiest Thanksgiving to ya Station #18.

Station 18 was opened on April 25, 2000 at 8:00 a.m. Over 300 neighbors attended the grand opening gala located at 6830 Hadler View. Station 18 houses the Personal Protection Equipment program responsible for the maintenance, ordering and distribution of all turnout equipment worn by firefighters for structural firefighting.

This station's kitchen smelled just like my own when I walked in. They were cooking up some THANKSGIVING GRUB! AND SMELLING GOOD!

Their cake was also a 4 layer lemon scented yellow cake with marshmallow buttercream filling/frosting and buttercream decorations.

Happy Thanksgiving Station #1 !

I flew in and out so fast on these guys they didn't know what hit them! It was like the "Cake Bandit"...but in reverse :-). I normally take time to talk, and tour but today I was on a mission to get cakes delivered BEFORE guests arrived at our house....I didn't make it, they were there before I was.

But these guys deserve our special time too, they work just as hard to keep us safe as anyone else. So it was nice to be late for my own guests just to make time for them.
