Racheal's Ribbons Of Hope Silent Auction Cake

September is "Childhood Cancer Awareness Month". My Child is 14 and it's un-thinkable to see something like this for her, but by his could be mine or your very own. Won't you make a donation today?

Rachael’s Ribbons of Hope Foundation was started November 1, 2007 and is built on the dreams and the memory of Rachael Newton. Rachael was only 14 years old when she passed away. After her diagnosis Rachael made earrings with grey ribbons and sold them to give the money to her doctors. She didn’t want other children to have to go through what she had to go through and her foundation is a continuation of that dream. We quickly found an ally in the fight with The Brain Tumor Institute which was established at Children’s National Medical Center by the same doctors who saw Rachael Through her most difficult times. RROH will continue to raise the awareness of pediatric brain tumors and fund research into treatments and hopefully one day find a cure for this devastating disease. Rachael’s Ribbons of Hope Foundation is an IRS 501©3 nonprofit organization dedicated to promoting and supporting the research of the Brain Tumor Institute and building awareness of pediatric brain tumors.

Cake: Dark Chocolate with Vanilla Buttercream Filling.

I'm happy with the entire cake but most pleased with the zipper that took two hours to finish! (I had to re-do it about 3 times before I got it the way I wanted it).
